Please follow these steps and see if that fixes the issue:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. Clear your website & browser’s cache.
Also, please ensure that your Author pages are not set to No Index since No Index pages are not included in the sitemaps.
You can check this on your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors > Author Robots Meta. https://i.rankmath.com/tcR1mv
