Attachment/media rel canonical to post url

    Hi
    I have a question regarding rankmath and rel canonical

    I have post which is only written in abstract (not full article) , full article are in pdf format

    And from post page I link to pdf full article via add media options

    Is it possible for rankmath to add hhtp header rel canonical on pdf url back to post url ?

    Since it’s not html I supposed the only way to is via http header

    As you correctly pointed out as it’s non-HTML page, the only way to add canonical to PDF is via .htaccess file.

    Please enter this code in .htaccess file, changing the values according to your files and URL


    Header add Link ‘<http://www.domain.com/post-link>; rel=”canonical”‘
