Assistance Needed for “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” Issue

#998404
  • Dear Rank Math Support Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I am experiencing an issue with my website, where many of my pages are labeled as “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” in Google Search Console. Despite following the recommended steps from Rank Math and Google’s guidelines, the issue persists.

Steps I Have Taken So Far:
    1. Checked Robots.txt: Ensured that my pages are not blocked.

    2. Noindex Tags: Verified that there are no unintended “noindex” tags.

    3. URL Inspection in GSC: Manually requested indexing for affected URLs.

    4. Sitemap Submission: Submitted an updated sitemap via Google Search Console.

    5. Internal Linking & Content Quality: Strengthened internal linking and ensured high-quality, unique content.

    6. Core Web Vitals & Page Speed Optimization: Improved loading times and user experience.

    7. Backlinking & Social Signals: Promoted pages through social media and built backlinks.

    8. Removed Low-Quality/Thin Content: Ensured all indexed pages have substantial content.

    9. Checked for Manual Actions: Confirmed there are no penalties affecting my site.

Despite these efforts, many of my pages remain stuck in the “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” state. I would appreciate any insights or recommendations from the Rank Math team to resolve this issue.

Looking forward to your expert guidance.

    Best regards,
    D. Changmai

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your website, theworldupdate.in, regarding the "Crawled – Currently Not Indexed" status in Google Search Console. Thank you for detailing the steps you’ve already taken; it helps us understand your situation better.

Here are some additional insights and recommendations that may help you resolve this issue:

    1. Site-Wide Quality Issues: If many of your pages are affected, it could indicate a site-wide quality issue. Ensure that your overall site structure is robust and that all pages provide unique and valuable content. Google may not index pages if they perceive the overall quality of the site to be low.

    2. Internal Linking Structure: Make sure that important pages have strong internal links from other high-traffic and relevant pages on your site. This can help Google understand the importance of these pages.

    3. Duplicate Content: Check for any duplicate content across your site. If duplicates exist, consider adding canonical tags to point to the original content you want indexed.

    4. Content Audit: Conduct a thorough content audit to identify any outdated or low-quality pages. You can either improve these pages or consider alternatives like removing them, redirecting them, or adding a noindex meta tag if they do not serve a purpose for users.

    5. Patience with Indexing: Sometimes, it takes time for Google to process changes and re-evaluate your site’s quality. Continue monitoring the situation, as improvements may take several weeks to reflect in search results.
