    Hello RankMath,

I have a website, moneyui.com, where I write articles about products and services that I have personally tried. Recently, I noticed that my Google impressions have gone to zero, even though my search ranking has improved. When I checked my search console, I saw that my articles were still not getting clicks or impressions.

To confirm this, I searched for “Jar app review.” As you can see in the screenshot below, showing that the article is raking in the 10th position, but when I tried to find it, it was not there.

The same thing is happening with each and every article on my website.
I don’t know what the problem is; please help me with this; let me know what the issue is so I can solve it.

I have checked, and there is no penalty on my site.

Waiting for your kind response, thanks.

  • Hello,

Sorry for the experience you had while using the plugin. I will try my level best to help you get to the bottom of this.

There are a few things you have to keep in mind when using any SEO plugin, not just Rank Math.

    1. An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-setup/

    2. All the SEO plugins add Meta tags for the search engines which can be checked by viewing the source of a page. For instance, here:
    view-source:https://rankmath.com/

Other popular plugins generate similar tags:
    https://i.rankmath.com/n94KyH

And with the Rank Math plugin, additional tags are added to a page so search engines can understand the content on a website better.

    3. Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month and the chances are great that your website got hit by that.

We have a full guide on that: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/

And if you are using Rank Math PRO, you can even see if the drop in traffic co-relates to an algorithm update. Here’s how:

    FINAL STATEMENT

    – If your website is doing good on SERP, Rank Math is your best bet to improve the rankings further.
    – If your website is not doing good on search engines, Rank Math is the best option to move into.
    – We are pretty open in communication and how we are dealing with things. One can check here:
