Article descriptions on Google began to disappear after the plugin update

    The essence of the problem: Some articles in the Google search engine ceased to show descriptions, in some cases – even the correct titles for publications.

    The problem occurred after the last update of Rank Math (I have not encountered this bug before).

    For example, the description is not displayed for the query “Сэйю Геншин Импакт” (in the search engine looks like this).

    Here’s another article where the title and description don’t show up – a link has replaced it all. This is what it looks like on the query.

    Another publication, marked in red on the screenshot, also does not show a description on Google, only a link.

    Although there are many more examples, not all articles have lost the description or become displayed incorrectly. However, the bug greatly affects attendance, so I really hope for your help!

    List of plugins used: Accelerated Mobile Pages, Autoptimize, LuckyWP Table of Contents, Rank Math SEO, Web Stories, WP Fastest Cache.

    But if Google has decided to remove descriptions for some of your pages then all you can do is optimize the description of the affected pages according to the content of your article and wait for Google to decide to show it in the SERPs.
