Are the focus keywords necessary?

    Are the focus keywords necessary for a better ranking, or are they just for me to get a score?

    For example, I have a template for the SEO description and the SEO title, so the focus keyword is just to see a higher number, but this is not important to me in this case. I am sure, that this is the maximum I can get out of these specific pages.
    So the question is, if I can sacrifice for the focus keywords and save that time, if they don’t give me directly a better ranking.

    Hello,

    The focus keyword is only used for content analysis and generating an SEO score. It has no direct impact on your site’s SEO performance. So if you choose not to add a focus keyword on a page, it will not have any negative effect on its SEO performance.
