On each of my product pages, I’m getting various indications from the Additional section that tell me I need to, for example, add an image, link to external resource, add internal link, etc. Is Rankmath making any distinction between how it rates pages based on whether they are posts, pages, products or categories, or does it treat each of them the exact same way? Wouldn’t each of those different post types have different best practices for SEO configuration and wouldn’t those differ slightly from each other?
By the time a user has made it to a product page to make a purchase, is it really advisable to have external links, for example, which can only serve to take the user away from that page? I can understand why external links are desirable elsewhere on the site, such as posts and pages, but I’m not so sure about products. What’s the reaosning behind why Rankmath is providing this recommendation on a product page?
Each product on my site has a featured image already, so if the user is reading the product page text, they are already looking at the product featured image (and possibly also any gallery images). Given that fact, is it really desirable to recommend additional images, as this is also an indication from Rankmath.
