Appearance of Book Rich Snippet in Post content

    Hi there,

    I’ve just installed Schema Markup Rich Snippets and am applying them to the books on my site using the Books function. After filling in the details on the Post, I am provided with a shortcode that needs to be inserted into the content.

    My questions are:

    * Does this shortcode need to be inserted into the content in order for the Rich Snippets to work?
    * If so, is there a way to format the shortcode data (edition, author, title, publisher etc for each edition…) so that the text is smaller, for example? At the moment the information that displays when I enter the shortcode overwhelms the last part of my page.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    No the schema will automatically be added to the page even without adding the shortcode on the page. You should only use the shortcode if you want the rich snippet data to appear for your site visitors as well.
