API Error: HTTP 400 error.

    Hi,

    I am trying to setup Rank Math Free and have run into ‘API Error: HTTP 400 error’ when Starting Sitewide Analysis in the SEO Analysis module.

    I have run a scan on https://httpstatus.io/ and I do get a 404.

    See sensitive data content below. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello,

    I was able to fix the issue by disabling 404 redirects in the theme I’m using (Enfold). I can’t wait to proceed with the plugin!

    Hi,

    I am having this issue again, and have checked with my ISP and they are not blocking access with a firewall or anything. Also, I am not password protecting the directory. The domain is molliesfund.org.

    Not sure if I should start a new ticket or not. Thought I would start here. Thanks.

    It appears your web server is blocking access to our API.

    Please make sure to whitelist the IP 134.90.148.114 and the user-agent RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com.

    If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

    Once done, you can run the SEO Analysis once again.

    I have asked my ISP to make sure there are no blockages server side. They said that there are not.

    I changed the WordPress Address and Site address to https and that seemed to free it up. Since I had enabled ‘force https’ on the site I guess it was having trouble with that? Not sure, but now it works. If you try it now, it should be clear. Thanks for looking into it.
