Yet again, a new update, a new critical error. Your plugin has caused more critical errors than any other plugin I have used in 10 years on WP.

Please see sensitive data for log.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to further investigate this one over your admin settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have updated the sensitive data with a log-on credential for you.

NOTE: This is a live revenue-earning website, do not deactivate any plugins in your testing or publish or change anything without checking with me.

Kindly analyze and report to me what the problem is and how it will be resolved before making any changes.

    Hello,

We have just replied to your email but I am sending the email here just in case:

You are getting undefined method error on functions get_active_modules & unpublish_jobposting_post.

The unpublish_jobposting_post is a new function that we added in the last update and the get_active_modules function also exists in the plugin. Maybe the plugin didn’t install properly on your site. Deleting the plugin and reinstalling it again will fix the issue.

Can you please try that or would you like us to do that for you?

This happens way too many times with Rank Math. My staging site is using the latest WP core 5.6.x and had no error like this when I did a dry run upgrade.

I suspect your team needs to test more thoroughly on earlier versions from 5.2 upwards which is your stated compatibility.

    Hello,

We have shared your feedback with the dev. team.

Are you seeing any issues now or is it all sorted?

I was told that you suddenly changed your minimum compatibility from 5.2 to 5.5 – I think that’s a mistake, to be honest, as not everyone can suddenly upgrade to 5.5 for various reasons like new theme development and migration.

Even before that sudden change, your team seems to be more attracted to shiny new features than stability.

I would caution newcomers to always wait a few days before clicking update and checking the support boards for firmware errors.

    Hello,

We understand what you mean but we have to keep innovating and adding new features. There is no reason for your theme developer to not update the code to support the most latest, most secure WordPress version.

If you need further help or with anything else, please open a new support ticket here so we can help.

We are always here for assistance.
