This is my website ‘allindiainfo.in’ and I have noticed that these days some anonymous links have been generated on my sitemap in product / page section and when I tried to check by backend section, there is nothing suspicious found but google has also crawled these links. Please suggest if this issue created through your plugin or something else. One more thing all these links and languages are in Japanese language and the extension is .shtml

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with anonymous links appearing in your sitemap. It sounds like you might be dealing with a case of internal site search spam or potentially some other form of unwanted content generation.

Here are a few steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check for Internal Site Search Spam: Sometimes, internal search features can be exploited to create spammy links. You can refer to our article on Internal Site Search Spam for more information on how to identify and prevent this type of spam.

    2. Review Your Sitemap Settings: Ensure that your sitemap settings in Rank Math are configured correctly. You can check if there are any settings that might be allowing these unwanted links to be included in your sitemap.

    3. Inspect Your Robots.txt File: Make sure that your robots.txt file is not inadvertently allowing these pages to be indexed by Google. You can check this under Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.

    4. Use Google Search Console: Check your Google Search Console for any manual actions or messages from Google regarding these links. This can provide insight into whether Google has flagged your site for any issues.

    5. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math and cause unexpected behavior. You can use the Health Check plugin to identify any potential conflicts.

    6. Remove Unwanted Links: If you find any unwanted links, consider using the URL removal tool in Google Search Console to request their removal from Google’s index.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!
