Analytics Page does not display details accurately - Support

Hi,

I have been chatting to Bhanu by e-mail who recommended I send a ticket to you:

Basically, I am puzzled by the analytics report, which displays errors I have previously completed, changed, or removed – such as missing “alt” image details. Some of these images have been removed and deleted completely from the WP image library two days ago, so why do they show in the report? Weird!

This morning the report shows missing H1 heading on the Home page, even though the H1 heading is there.

I have tried to clear cache and resent all the analytics parameters, but it still shows and error.
Can you please give me some pointers why the analytics takes so long to show the correct values after I have followed the recommendations on the main page?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your site, and the issue about missing H1 Heading is already fixed upon clearing the SEO Analysis cache by these buttons in Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools

For the missing alt attributes error, those images are the icons on your homepage added when viewed in mobile, and they are being generated by the responsive menu buttons. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

Please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options are not added to images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, etc.

Thank-you very much for your kind and prompt reply; much appreciated.
I have resolved some of the issues and waiting for the server to update all details.

I always clear cahche, minify, and all Rank data when performing the test, but it still seems to take a long time to catch-up with my updates, (??) even though these have been corrected. It would be good to know why this happens?

Anyway, I will try and re-run the test later today.

I just have ywo final questions for you. This website is purely business and the CEO hates social media, so we have no external links, blogs, or any association with other sites. My questions are:

1.- How do I remove OpenGraph with is irrelevant to the site?
2.- In the individual page tests, I always fail on “No external links” because I have no external links. How can I remove this aspect [external links] from the test to achieve a higher result?

In other words, is there a way to exclude these tests from the Ranking? It would help improve confidence in my client that his site has been optimised as far as possible, but will never reach 100% because there is no link to social media and blogs, etc…

Your kind advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Instead of removing the OpenGraph image, you can set a default OpenGraph image by going to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and assign a default OG thumbnail as shown below:

For the test, you can disable that test by pasting this code in the theme’s functions.php file:

	unset(
		$tests['linksHasExternals'],
	);
    return $tests;
