Can you advise what I need to do to get the optimization to analyze the content. It shows zero as shown here: https://app.screencast.com/JAG1QLEQ2xW2o

I have it connected to Google but it doesn’t show any results. It has been connected for a while but reconnected last week with the new GA4.

Am I missing something that is causing it not to retrieve any information? Is there an option also to allow seeing any traffic and not just search traffic?

If logged in as an admin does Google still count that traffic when we go to the pages/post?

Can you look to see that everything is correctly setup?

    Thank you
    Terry

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We would like to first address your concern with regard to tracking traffic for logged-in users. If you wish to disable the tracking code for logged-in users, kindly head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and enable the option “Exclude Logged-in users”. Please refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#exclude-logged-in-users

As for your analytics issues, before we conduct a debugging on this, please try reconnecting the Google account, to regenerate the auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Analytics settings again:

    gsc

Please ensure you have checked all the necessary permissions.

After doing so, please report back to us so we can continue checking the issue and apply a solution accordingly.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi Jeremy,
I had already went through the reconnecting process and selecting all the permissions before sending this ticket so please continue checking to be sure I didn’t miss a setting. I do appreciate the info on the setting for not tracking logged in users. I know the results box usually shows only traffic from Google but is there a way to see the amount of traffic that didn’t come from someone clicking in a search from Google. In other words is there a way to see all traffic like someone going straight to the website without going through Google?
    Thanks
    Terry

    Hello,

That kind of traffic can be monitored by Google Analytics and we currently only show the stats that are related to the SERP insights.

As for your current issue, we would like to further debug it. Please share your website FTP in the sensitive data section so we can further check it.

    Looking forward to helping you.
