Tow questions:
<h2>A. Pre-check List</h2>
1. You should not be using Google Analytics v4 or Matomo Analytics.I am connecting my site with Google Analytics, not sure if it is Google Analytics v4. How can I tell
3. Ensure that you are logged in to your paid account:
Do I have to be a paid user to see the data?Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up.
GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.
However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.
In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
and then choose
We also have this guide in our KB:
https://rankmath.com/kb/using-ga4/Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
I followed the instruction and determined that I am NOT using GA v4, however, I still can’t see data on the dashboard. I wonder if I have to be a paid user to see the data?
Thank you
LuqueHello,
Can you try these steps:
Try deleting old imported data and start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps.
1. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK
2. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
4. Once the process is complete. Please recheck the Analytics page.Let us know if it works for you.
Thanks for the prompt reply and awesome support. However, there is still no data. Knowing there is traffic info available from GA, at least some data should be displayed on the dashboard, right?
I also made a fresh install of RM on the other WordPress site under my same RM free account. Same issue – no data displays on the DASHBOARD => ANALYTICS.
Do I need a paid version of RM to make it work?
Thank you
LuqueHello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Just as another troubleshoot step, can you please make sure that you have selected your Analytics settings correctly under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics?
In case you have not selected values for these options make sure to select the appropriate ones to your website and hit the “Save Changes” button.
If you require any further assistance don’t hesitate to get in touch.
In the above screenshot, the only thing I didn’t turn on was install analytical code. It’s because I installed Google Site Kit, which installed GA code on my site.
Any further suggestions?
Thanks
