    Good Day!

The formula(s) you’re using to display analytics data and/or graphs may be incorrect.

For example, when we study the data and graph for “Total Clicks” we noticed the data shows a negative value but the graph shows a positive trend. You can see the specifics here. The data and graphs (trends) for all other analytics parameters seem to be correct.

Also, depending on the analysis period we select, we see the same issue for other analytics parameters such as “Search Impressions”, “Total Keywords”, and “Avg. Position”.

Kindly review and advise. “Something ain’t right.” 🙂

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Rank Math compares the current stats from the previous period of the same number of days as you have selected in the timeframe. For example, if you have selected 30 days in the timeframe to view the data in Analytics and seeing 40 Total Clicks with a decrease of 24 clicks then you had 64 Total Clicks in the previous 30 days period.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi Jaideep,

Thank you. Hope all is well.

Don’t mean to persist on this one, but the curve is still wrong. The curve’s end points don’t agree with what you said.

Specifically, the current (“today’s”) data point on the curve should be lower – not higher – than the curve’s data point 30 days ago.

Again, this screenshot demonstrates your curve(s) are not always right.

Your call. Eventually, it will get fixed 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The graph is displayed for your current selected timeframe. If you hover on the graph then you will be able to check that the Total Clicks at the starting of the graph will be less than the end of the Graph.

The decrease that you are seeing in the stats, 24 in your case of Total Clicks, will not be shown in the graph as it doesn’t show the data for the previous period of the selected timeframe.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hey Jaideep,

Thank you. Based on your explanations, we’ll study this further.

If necessary, more information will be provided (or requested).

Ticket closed for now. Appreciated you help and patience.

    Cheers!
