    Hi,

    I was just wondering…

    Does using an Ampersand (&) affect/change a keyword?

    Example:

    Digital Marketing Facts and Statistics
    Digital Marketing Facts & Statistics

    Sometimes I use the ladder to save character space in meta titles (and my RankMath score drops as a result), so I was just wondering about this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support today and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Our content analysis looks for the exact keyword in your title or content and this includes the matching of the special characters.

    If you have “&” in your focus keyword and “and” on your content, our content analysis will not pass the test.
