You have to configure the AMP SEO settings to either disable some features such as JS scripts on the page so that you can get a performance improvement.
I would suggest that you read up on the AMP plugin documentation on how to set up the plugin to get the best results and also ensure that the Rank Math AMP module is enabled on your site.

I have enabled rankmath amp module. Also configured AMP Plugin setting as advised. I think plugin documentation is for older version.

As I noticed from theme developer that theme is not supportive with AMP. Do I need to activate AMP in rank math SEO ? Do I need AMP plugin ? Please advice

You need to have an AMP plugin on your site so as to make it possible to server AMP pages since your theme is not AMP ready.
