  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your AMP pages not being indexed on Google anymore. This can happen for a few reasons, and it’s important to ensure that your configuration is correct.

If you have recently disabled the AMP plugin, it’s crucial to redirect your AMP pages to their corresponding non-AMP versions to avoid 404 errors. You can do this easily using the Rank Math Redirection Manager. Here’s a brief guide on how to set up these redirections:

    1. Navigate to Redirections: Make sure you’ve installed and activated the Redirection module from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO. Then, go to Redirections in your Rank Math dashboard.
Navigate to redirections in Rank Math

    2. Add a New Redirection: Click on Add New to create a new redirection from your AMP pages to the regular mobile pages.

For more detailed instructions, you can refer to our guide on redirecting all AMP pages to non-AMP pages.

Additionally, you may want to check your site’s indexation status using Google Search Console or the Index Status report in Rank Math’s Analytics. This will help you identify any issues that might be preventing your AMP pages from being indexed.

If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

The correct way to check for the presence of the AMP pages is on Google Search Console because those pages will only appear on Google on very specific use cases and always when using a mobile device.

If your website has AMP pages it will show in the sidebar of Google Search Console like so:
    AMP
