Alternate page with proper canonical tag

    Hi everyone,
    We are getting the error “Alternate page with proper canonical tag” in the Google console.

    I have read your support page but I am unsure how to find the other page that has the same canonical tag

    The page given in the report is https://joinbubble.com/hrhub/childcare-benefits-2023_22081.html

    Could you tell me how to find the other page with the same tag. We have hundreds of posts and pages so it’s not easy to find.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The other page with the same canonical URL is https://joinbubble.com/for-business/childcare-benefits-2023_22081.html. If you look at these two pages, you will see they are exactly the same and the original one is already indexed on Google. In this case, there is nothing you need to do on your part.

    However, if you don’t want the duplicate page to appear on your site anymore, you can use a 301 redirect for this.
