    Hi,

I am pondering why I’ve added the ALT text to specific on page images but RM is still reporting that I should add it. I have two links below with screenshots. The first is the RM output and the second is the ALT text attribute shown on the DIVI builder screen; which matches the text I input through the WP media section.

Can you tell me where I am going wrong?

    Cheers,

    Scott Oakley

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay.

I tested the link you’ve provided, using our Online SEO Analyzer Tool and I was able to replicate the error.

Upon checking your website, I found that an image in your website’s footer section is missing the ALT text. Please see the screenshot available in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

As the image in your case is not under the WP Editor Area, you will have to manually add the ALT text using custom HTML (or your theme customizer).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Well this is fun! Thank you for the tidbit on how to find that missing alt tag.

    Observation

    1. I ran the page through the SEO Analyzer- https://snipboard.io/XP4kfJ.jpg
It reports a missing H1 tag.

    2. I ran the ‘on page analyzer’ and that reports (by the absence of a ding) the H1 is there. https://snipboard.io/eQ5Ekc.jpg

Indeed, the H1 tag is present in the page.-https://snipboard.io/kKhZ6Q.jpg
4th line down it is included.

Is this a bug with the analyzer or am I missing something?

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

I’ve tried checking your site using our External SEO Analyzer, and it seems that the H1 tag is already showing

Could you please try clearing your website and browser’s cache and check again?

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
