Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math not recognizing your image alt tags. There could be a few reasons for this behavior:
-
ALT Text Format: Ensure that the ALT text for your image includes the exact keyword "portfolio preparation for art college". Sometimes, variations or additional words can cause the keyword not to be recognized.
-
Image Settings: If you are using the Gutenberg editor, make sure you have added the ALT text in the Block settings on the right side when you click on the image. For the Classic editor, ensure you are editing the image settings correctly by clicking the Pen icon and entering the ALT text there.
-
Caching Issues: If you have caching enabled on your site, it might be serving an older version of your page. Try clearing your cache and checking again.
-
SEO Analysis Tool: You can use Rank Math’s SEO Analysis tool to check if there are any other issues affecting your page’s SEO that might indirectly affect how keywords are recognized.
If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket with the specific URL of your page and the image link so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

I have an issue with Rankmath where it doesn’t seem to recognise my image alt tags as being the keywords even though there is an image with the keyword on. Please can you advise why it’s not recognising it? The page is below, the image link too and the keyword is “portfolio preparation for art college”

I’m using WP-Bakery, but not using any shortcodes. Thank you.

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you so much for your patience, and sorry for the delay.
This issue occurs due to how WPBakery formats the content—specifically, image tags are added without spaces between them, which affects how our current regex detects alt tags. Our dev team has identified the problem and a fix will be included in an upcoming update.
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
Hello,
