When I run an SEO Analysis it shows that I have an image without and Alt Attribute. But I have deleted the image from my Media Library. I have cleared the page and brower caches. I have deactivated and activated RankMath. I have even checked the cpanel directory to make sure the image is not there. The image is no where to be seen.

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I checked your page source and the image is still there in your page source:
That’s why you are seeing the error. Please add alt text to the image and re-run the SEO analysis to fix the issue.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Trust me, it is not there. The image is not in the Media Gallery. The image is not in the cpanel directory. It is nowhere.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back.
I have added the URL of the image this issue is related to, in the sensitive data section. You can access the image so it is still there in your media library. Please search for the image and set alt text for it.
After adding alt text, clear the SEO Analysis data from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and re-run the SEO Analysis.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch with us.
I have replied to your other ticket and I will explain the issue here with regards to your image alt tag.
The image files are indeed removed from your website but your website is still heavily cached. If you again, add a parameter
?1to your URL to reveal the non-cached version of the page, the error about the image alt tag goes away. Please see this video screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/MrEjUeWe are looking forward to helping you.
How can the website be heavily cached if I haved cleared the cache through W3TC? I am lost and have no idea what to do to further clear any cache.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back.
If you have already cleared the cache from W3TC then there must be server-side caching that is aggressively caching your site. Please contact your host and ask them to clear the server-side cache and check if that resolves the issue.
Let us know how it goes. We really look forward to your update.
Thanks. I have Jeremy looking into my cpanel on another ticket. Perhaps he will find something there. I appreciate your help.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Upon checking your website and running the SEO Analysis again the issue with the image is gone. This would indicate some sort of browser cache was still in play and since my browser had no cache at all when viewing your website it correctly ran the tests.
Hope this helps clarify your doubts.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Are you kidding me? I have given you sensitive data for over 12 hours and nothing? Prior to this I had a 100% SEO Analysis. Now I have more problems than before I requested your help and the problem with the mobile snapshot persists. In addition, now it says I have “Page Objects” and “Directory Listing” is enabled. What did you do to my cpanel to have this come up now. Something is serious wrong with the Rank Math SEO. Personally, I think it does not work at all. Without making any changes I had a 100%. Now you guys play around with it and more problems arise. This is very upsetting
What have you done to my website? What changes did you make in the cpanel? Why do I have these problems now? PLEASE REVERSE ANY AND ALL CHANGES YOU MADE BECAUSE YOU ARE MAKING THINGS WORSE! I had a 100% score before you touched it.
Except for the Alt Image which as YOU CAN SEE, was a RankMath problem because the image was deleted. So, whatever you did to eliminate the Alt Image error created the Page Objects and Directory Listing error. PLEASE FIX.
I have given you full access to my website (WP ADMIN AND CPANEL) and yet you have created more problems. I do not have a complicated website. What are you doing all these hours with my sensative data?
Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch with us and we apologize for the inconvenience.
We did not do any changes to your cPanel as we are only checking if there is any caching software that is still in play.
In your WordPress admin, however, we try purging the cache and it looks like caching is still occurring yesterday.
I checked again today and it seems the issue with regards to the alt image has been resolve. Please test your website here: https://rankmath.com/tools/seo-analyzer/
As for the Page Objects, you need to reduce the number of images, scripts from the theme/plugins that are making non-essential requests.
I can suggest that you take a look at these resource pages for more information on optimizing the performance of your pages:
