All URL’s now have icon overlay to thumbnail activated by default

    Hi there!

    Another issue with this last update:

    All URL’s now have “Add icon overlay to thumbnail” on Preview Snippet Editor > Social activated by default.

    Even you tell “Please be careful with this option. Although this option will help increase CTR on Facebook, it might get you penalised if over-used.”.

    Why there activating them all?

    Do please consider the pain in the ass of removing this option for each URL.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I am sorry but I cannot seem to reproduce this problem on my end after the update. I am not sure what could have caused this on your end but it is likely that something went awry during the update that affected the saved values on your end.
    Is it possible that you have an update script on your theme that could have modified the value of “rank_math_facebook_enable_image_overlay” custom field value?

    Tried deleting this comment, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do so.

    The issue seems to have been resolved.
