Can you please confirm if this is a default post category? If your category sitemap option is enabled from Rank Math > Sitemap Settings then the category should automatically be included on the /post_category-sitemap.xml.

However, if it is not getting included automatically then please try to follow the steps below to clear your sitemap cache:

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

But if it is a custom category then you’ll have to include this from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings. Also, make sure this category is set to index from the Titles & Meta settings.
