Hi Michael, Thanks for your reply. I have added 4 screenshots. The value is fluctuating and yesterday it showed ‘https://smartoptions.io/sitemap_index.xml’ is not a sitemap index. What is doing this we did not remove/change anything?

The number of URLs is likely fluctuating because of the tag URLs which are not completely fetched. Could you please click on the post tag sitemap to view the error details and share a screenshot of the same.

I have added the new information. The site index is building up again but I don’t understand why it was all removed that is not normal correct?

There are now no errors anymore and almost all the pages are indexed again but it is strange that it just reset right?

Sometime it may take Google sometime for Google to crawl your sitemap and reflec any changes made. It might be this was the case with your sitemap. Please let us know if the issue happens again, which should not happen assuming you have excluded your sitemap URLs from caching.

We have the sitemap excluded from the caching if I am correct.
