Advantages of Having Rankmath have the analytics Track code

    Is there any advantages / disadvantages of having Rank Math have the analytics code?

    What I mean is – I currently have the tracking in my theme header.php

    Disadvantage is, if they update the theme header (theme update), I’d lose it.

    But, disadvantage of having Rank Math having it, is maybe it’s slower?

    What do you personally recommend I do? – Would there be some effect (big or even very small), to have Rank Math have it?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you are constantly updating your theme and would remove the analytics code, then I would recommend enabling Install analytics code in the analytics settings.

    Adding this code will not affect your website’s speed as this code will only execute the necessary operations for Google Analytics to collect data from the visitors. You may refer to this article: https://developers.google.com/analytics/resources/concepts/gaConceptsTrackingOverview
