    Hello,

I just noticed these new options already enabled and with a minus 1 next to them.

    Max Snippet -1
    Max Video Preview -1
    Max Image Preview Large

Wouldn’t “-1” mean no snippet? Tried searching the knowledge base but this has yet to be added.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

-1 is the default value which means “No-limit” when counting elements. You can however define a custom value when defining the global settings on the Titles & Meta page.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thanks Michael.

    Hello,

I’m glad everything is clear on this issue.

If you don’t mind me asking, could you please leave us a review (if you haven’t already) on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/reviews/?rate=5#new-post about your overall experience with Rank Math? We appreciate your time and patience.

If you do have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.

Why not just have it unchecked with no value as a default to cut off new user confusion and questions? Perhaps a suggestion from me as a tiny little UX tweak 🙂

Glad to have found this page though, had to wrap -1 with “” on the search because the – is a search operator.

To find this the search was:
    max snippet “-1” rank math
