Addresses (urls) ending in “/feed”

    Hello successful team!
    I’m getting hundreds and hundreds of errors in the Google Search Coverage Report with the urls ending in “/feed”. If I remove the ending “feed” the page is online. I don’t offer an option on the site for people to subscribe to article feeds, and I don’t even have such forms. What did I do to make this happen? Is there any Rank Match settings I can fix?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Feeds are generated by WordPress.

    You can disallow the crawler from crawling the feed URLs from the robots.txt file at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt

    User-Agent: *
Disallow: /feed/

    Wow, this is very simple to do and here I am “hanging” myself. I just don’t know if by doing this, it will continue in the Google Search coverage report as a 404 error for a long time. Here’s a suggestion for Rank Math to automatically redirect to the /feed article.

    Hello,

    I am glad that we could address your issue.

    Google and all user-agent will never crawl your /feed pages anymore as this is already stated in your robots.txt file.
