Additional contactType options for Telephone

    Hi there,
    A number of my clients don’t have the contactType options that currently appear in the Local SEO setup for telephone. Is there a general enquiries option? Or how else can it be customised?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    The dropdown is hidden when you are using a Person Schema or the Multiple Locations option is enabled

    Hi Reinelle,
    Thank you for your email.
    I’m not having an issue finding the drop down, I am saying the current options available to choose do not match what I need. My client doesn’t have departments for customer service, sales, tech support, credit card etc as it isn’t a requirement.
    A lot of my clients are B2B clients so something like general enquiries is more relevant to their needs, the other options there are not suitable.
    Can you advise?

    Hello,

    Since your contact is for general queries, you can select the Customer Service option. If you want, you can use the following filter in your theme’s functions.php file to modify the value for that field in the frontend: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#extend-json-ld-data
