adding meta description

    I have gone through all the articles, it’s really informative and helpful. however still have issues in filling the following fields, under general the description field cant be changed, I can only choose the option but I can’t add my own text. 
    also where I can find the difference between a schema and general tabs.
    any insight would be highly appreciated
    can I call someone to have phone support or virtual meeting with support?
    I need answers for some questions

    The data in the schema tab are used for your site structured data. You can test your site on Google Rich Results test tool to view the added schema type and their related data. Please also check this article to learn more about schema markup.
