Hi, I’m thinking of purchasing a Pro plan on RankMath for my e-commerce websites.
Before ordering, I need to be sure of the following information.

    1. Can I add multiple schema on “pages” and “woo commerce product” built by WP bakery? I tried to find information about RankMath’s compatibility on WP bakery, but some says it doesn’t compatible quite well.

    2. Can I add multiple schema on “woo commerce product” built by Elementor?

    3. Will I lose any traffic or rank, if I change my website’s previous Yoast SEO plugin to RankMath? Will there be any possible of risks? do you prefer or not?

    4. According to https://rankmath.com/kb/faq-schema-elementor/, which one is better for schema markup “Elementor FAQ Toggle On” or “Add FAQ Schema with RankMath”? What’s the difference?

Thanks for your advice in advance.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

We appreciate your interest in purchasing the Rank Math PRO version.

    1. Yes, you can add multiple schemas on your posts/products/pages using Rank Math PRO and WP Bakery. However, Rank Math’s not yet fully integrated into their frontend builder yet, and you would need to head back to the classic or backend editor of WP Bakery to apply the Rank Math blocks such as FAQs schema. Apart from that one teeny-tiny thing, everything else works great.

Rank Math should work well with WP bakery in terms of reading the content and analyzing the content. However, if you’re building the website using the page builder, Rank Math will not be able to analyze them.

    2. Yes, you can add multiple schemas to your products using Elementor.

    3. An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-setup/

Here’s a link for more information on how to migrate from Yoast to Rank Math:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/

    4. The Elementor toggle for FAQ Schema will only add the Elementor generated FAQ Schema for that page.

However, Rank Math’s Add FAQ Schema would add the FAQ Schema for the contents added to the Accordion widget. Since the Schema is being added by Rank Math, you can rest ensure that your FAQ Schema gets nested with other Rank Math Schema being added to the page.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Dear Reinelle,

Thanks for the detailed information. Your answers are so clear and kind & really helped me a lot! I have further questions about your answers :

    1. About the WP bakery website question, what do you mean by “However, if you’re building the website using the page builder, Rank Math will not be able to analyze them.” If we built our landing pages by the backend editor of WP Bakery, does the Rank Math is compatible?

    2. About the FAQ schema, (https://rankmath.com/kb/faq-schema-block/#some-questions-about-rank-math-faq-blocks) if I have several FAQ blocks (consist of 2 or more columns) is it possible to markup all of the questions together via Rank Math? I’ve tried to toggle on every accordion blocks and the rich test results shows me “multiple FAQ schema error,” so I left the toggle for just one column. If it is possible, I want to add schema for all of the questions. (I’ve added the example landing pages url on sensitive data)

    Thanks!

More on to the question #2, When I tried to toggle on the FAQ via Elementor, the Rich results tests shows me the answer text part with the full html code (something like <p> <b> <br>).
If I use Rank Math FAQ Schema instead of Elementor FAQ toggle, will the rich results shows me only the contents text, not the full html codes?

Also, is there are any documents for the full schema markup type list that I can use with Rank Math Pro plan?

Thanks in advance and hope you have a great day!

    Hello,

    1. Since WP Bakery isn’t 100% compatible, there are areas in which Rank Math can’t read so the Content Analysis might not going to work properly.

However, this doesn’t affect your general SEO performance as this little issue is only happening on the backend.

    2. You can let Rank Math create the schema markup for those 2 sets of FAQs blocks. Rank Math will automatically create a proper FAQs schema for it. If you are using multiple accordions as your FAQs, Rank Math will also merge all the multiple elements into one schema structure if you turn on “Add FAQ Schema Markup” option on both elements/block.

As for the FAQ schema HTML issue, Rank Math should only get the texts without the formatting. Could you please let us know if the specific element/block you are using is an extension of Elementor blocks?

As for the schema list, kindly check our reference guide here: https://rankmath.com/kb/rich-snippets/#schema-rank-math-and-pro

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Dear Jeremy,

    Thanks for your kind reply.

To clarify your answer, can I add all of the contents in several accordions using Rank Math Pro’s FAQ Schema, right?

I will put the rich results pages about FAQ schema HTML issue with formatting on the Sensitive Data.

I’ve been using Elementor’s ‘General – Toggle’ widget and ‘General – Accordion’ widge right now. Maybe because I’m using the Elementor FAQ toggle? (And hopefully fix this with Rank Math Pro FAQ schema?)

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Yes, you can as long as you don’t enable Elementor’s “FAQ Schema” option in your accordion element to avoid schema duplication.

As for the FAQ answer in your schema generating HTML format, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Dear Jeremy,

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t take a backup for my website, thus can’t share the information.

But it is fine, since we’ll probably just go to Rank Math Pro plan for the FAQ Schema and turn off the FAQ toggle from Elementor.

Before we do that, I wanted to know how FAQ Schema works in Elementor, (Do I need to add the Question and Answers like I do in the WordPress Classic Editor? (3.3 on https://rankmath.com/blog/faq-Schema/ ) – in this way, can the problem about the rich results of HTML format be solved? Since the FAQ toggle from Elementor does it automatically.)

Also to insert in the FAQ Schema builder, how can I get a shortcode for the certain block?

Thanks for the great support, and I’ll wait for the reply.

    Hello,

With Elementor, you can add the FAQs using the Accordion widget, Rank Math will automatically add the FAQ schema when you enable the Add FAQ Schema Markup option:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/faq-schema-elementor/#elementor-accordion

For the Schema Shortcode, you can copy it from the Schema generator:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/faq-schema-block/#num-2-faq-shortcode

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
