Add missing ALT attributes

    Hi Rank Math

    The more I use your tool, the more I love it.

    One question though:

    I have the Business version, and have enabled “Add missing ALT attributes“.
    Next box telling about “Alt attribute format” is set to %filename%

    I also have a Danish tool telling that 6.938 images are missing ALT attributes. It is like that number does not get smaller, and it is like Rank Math does not add the missing attributes.

    I’m aware that the process takes time, but Rank Math has been installed for more than a week now.

    How can I work with this issue?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    If you are using Rank Math Business Plan then you might want to select a different template for Rank math to create them. You can do that from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Images

    Add Image ALT

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    The format looks fine, you can use it. You can use variables in the ALT attribute format as per your requirements.

    You must be concerned that Rank Math only adds Alt Image Attribute to those images which are added through the post editor and which does not have any Alt Attribute by default.
