Add Meta Descriptions in Rank Math for Paginated Blog Pages

To set different meta descriptions for paginated blog pages, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard: Log in to your WordPress admin area.

2. Navigate to Rank Math Settings: Click on Rank Math SEO in the left sidebar.

3. Access Titles & Meta: From the Rank Math menu, go to Titles & Meta.

4. Select Posts: In the Titles & Meta settings, click on the Posts tab. Here, you can set a global meta description for all posts.

5. Use Custom Meta Descriptions: For individual posts, you can set custom meta descriptions by editing each post:

   • Open the specific post you want to edit.
   • Scroll down to the Rank Math Meta Box (if using Classic Editor) or click on the Rank Math SEO icon (if using Block Editor).
   • In the General tab, you will find the option to set a custom meta description. You can enter a unique description for that specific post.

6. Paginated Pages: Unfortunately, Rank Math does not provide a direct way to set different meta descriptions for paginated pages like /blog/?_page=2 through the Titles & Meta settings. However, you can manually edit the meta description for each paginated page by creating a custom template or using a hook in your theme’s functions.php file to dynamically generate meta descriptions based on the page number.

7. Save Changes: After entering your custom meta descriptions, make sure to save your changes.
