Using Divi to build out our pages and RankMath to review all seo requirements we have run into a common issue on each page/post etc where the Alt Tag isn’t being recognized by RankMath. We’ve tried adding the Alt Tag on the media file itself in WordPress and also adding the Alt Tag under Attributes in Divi itself. Confirmed it’s been added, but RankMath doesn’t show it’s been added.
Tried debunking this a few ways: Remove image on page and add new image and set Alt Tag then. Update image attributes with Alt Tag. We’ve tried Specialty section and Regular sections in DIVI as well, nothing that we can see that is a problem solver with Alt Tag recognition.
We have read this page and are wondering if it can be implemented by RankMath for this fix?

Let me explain.
If you disable Divi and switch to a different theme, you will see that all your content will look jumbled into shortcodes. In fact, you will have hard time telling what is content and what are the shortcodes used to style that content.
Here is an example of a page created with Divi theme:

https://i.rankmath.com/bh4YLWAs you can tell, it becomes really hard for any SEO plugin to detect this type of content added by shortcode based page builders. That is why every SEO plugin with content analysis relies on theme developers to tell them what to consider as content and what to ignore as layout elements. Divi did this for Yoast and they have done it for Rank Math:
But seems something changed in the last few months that broke that functionality.
So, you have to contact Divi and see what’s going on.
