Add also NOFOLLOW to paginated single pages marked with NOINDEX

    Selecting “Noindex Paginated Single Pages” is a good idea to “Prevent paginated pages of single pages and posts to show up in the search results”…

    But, ahref SEO tools alert me that if pages have only a ‘noindex’ but don’t have a ‘nofollow’ tag in the HTML code, all links on them are supposed to be followed by search engine bots and pass “link juice.”

    The suggested fix is:
    If you want to make sure search engine bots won’t follow the links on a ‘noindex’ page, add a ‘nofollow’ as a meta tag or as an HTTP response header.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience called.

    Even if you don’t want to index the paginated pages, we suppose you still want Google to follow the posts listed on them and index them. That’s why our plugin doesn’t add a nofollow tag to make sure Google and other search engines can follow the post URLs present on the page and index them.
