Add a sitemap for dynamic pages

    Hi,

I have a group of about 700 dynamic pages that are generated from my database.
    Example: https://www.machiningdoctor.com/mds/?matId=110 (where ?matId=nnn).
I want to generate a sitemap for this group of pages.
    1) Can I do it with the plugin? – The best option for me.
    2) If not, I can generate the sitemap by myself. But how do I include it in the sitemaps index file which is generated by Rankmath?

    Many thanks
    Erez

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

Since Rank Math is only able to generate the sitemaps from the usual post/pages structure, you would need to create/use a custom plugin that generates the sitemap for those pages.

After that, you could add that sitemap to the sitemap_index.xml file generated by Rank Math (the only one you have to add to Google Search Console).

Please refer to this thread: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/adding-extra-sitemap_own-xml-to-sitemap_index-html/

I hope this resolves your issue.

    Hello,

Upon checking your sitemap, I do see https://www.machiningdoctor.com/mds-sitemap.xml being listed. Refer to this screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/DZ8ftq

    It looks to be working.

I hope this resolves your issue. Let us know if you need anything else.

    You are right.
    I don’t know how I missed that.

    Sorry
