I’m having the exact same issue, driving me nuts… it’s all on a fresh install, i’ve tried incognito, I’ve tried hard-refresh and delete cookies, I’ve tried deactivating/uninstalling the plugin and re-installing, but it just does the same damn thing everytime.

Using the Status & Tools tab of Rankmath, I rolled back to version 1.0.42.3 and it works perfectly, shows that it’s activated, etc
I think they have a bug.

I can’t replicate this on my installation.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Upon using the Site Health Check troubleshooting mode with all plugins “disabled” and the default theme switched. The same result is occurring as originally stated.

What a PITA. After several hours of messing with misc settings in WP and Google Search Console/Google Analytics. I rolled back Rank Math from 1.0.43.1 to version 1.0.42.3 and now the plugin activates when clicked on. Also, most of the features such as Search console/Analytics seems to be working.

I had the same problem, cannot activate the plugin and cannot see the website in the dropdown from Search Console (but the property is verified in GSC).
SOLUTION: install/rollback to 1.0.42.3 version, that will solve both issues. But don’t update the plugin because the issues will be back.
@RankMath team: there is a problem with the new version of the plugin, the old one works just fine.

Instead of opening a new post, I just want to say I have the same problem. I am installing Rank Math for the first time on this site – can’t get Search Console list of sites, then can’t get plugin activated.
I rolled back, both things work now.

No. I got it upgraded to 1.0.43.1, plugin says “not connected” and search console doesn’t connect either.
I rolled back to 1.0.42.3 once again, it all works again.
