ACF block not analyzed properly

    Hello,
I have a couple of problems with a block built with ACF inside Gutenberg.

Example nr.1 : I put a keyword within my ACF block and this block comes first in my content (directly after the page title). It seems that RM finds the keyword and adds it to analysis, but not completely: I get an error message “Focus Keyword doesn’t appear at the beginning of your content” – which is wrong.

Example nr.2: seo description doesn’t automatically add the content from my ACF block, but it should, because this block comes first in the content. Of course, I can manually correct the description in order to solve this. But the fact remains – content from my ACF block is not added there.

I hope these problems are solvable, thank you in advance!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Are you using ACF as a stand alone plugin or is it embedded in your theme. We usually recommend the stand alone plugin in which case you should enable the ACF module in Rank math dashboard.

If you have enabled the ACF module with ACF as a stand alone plugin and the issue is still persisting, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you for you answer!
ACF is a stand alone plugin.
But the blocks are created as functions in the theme by following ACFs guides. Could that make a difference? Would they be more compatible with RM if I added them in a separate plugin? In that case I would look deeper into this.

A strange thing is that when I create a new post or page and use that block inside the Gutenberg, everything seems to work. But analysis is not working 100% with already existing posts. Besides, I use a lot of other Gutenberg blocks made with ACF throughout the website and they seem to work.
