Accidently Reset Options & Redirects missing?

    Hello,

I did went to “Rank Math – General Settings – Edit robots.txt” and thought it would jsut reset the robots.txt so I could see the default of Rank Math ..

But as it seems it also reset other options? Now I am unsure which things had been reset and which things from the setup wizard are still the same as I have chosen?

Also what I noticed (but that might even happened before the reset of options) that suddenly a different domain was selected within the search console settings and there wasn’t any way to select the actual domain as chosen within the setup wizard.

So I had to deauthorize and re-authorize in order to re-select the corrct domain. I hope that not sitemaps or other things had been transferred to my other domain?

One more thing I need to clarify: How can I be sure that all redirections had correctly been imported from yoast seo?

I see lots of 404 page errors for urls that I remember I used at the very early beginning of my domain start (around 2 years ago). And I believe that I did redirected them to the new urls. Or maybe some of these I never directed but why should google still try to crawl urls that are atleast for 1+ year showing an 404 error? So I fear that redirections are lost.

Is it possible to find that out somehow if any redirections are missing since the switch to rankmath?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello again,

due to the reset of options it also did changed the 404 error log line settings back to 100 lines.

So I did lost all the error logs of the past days.

Is there any way to get them back?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Had you created a back up of your redirections?

Assuming you followed all set guidelines while importing your SEO data from Yoast, all redirections are set to import. You can check and modify you Redirections by heading over to Rank math > Redirection

Here you can check if you are missing any of your redirections.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
