Hello,
We recommend that you keep Rank Math’s default robots.txt to avoid any indexing-related issues. I tested your main site’s robots.txt and it has been altered. The second website is using the default robots.txt
Please avigate to your main’s site robots.txt file in Rank Math which is located under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit robots.txt as shown below:

Remove any code you find in the text area, add the following code, and save changes:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Sitemap: https://mudonemlak.com/sitemap_index.xml
We hope that helps. Please let us know if you still face this or any issue, we are here to assist.
Thank you
I’m not able to change the code because of this message.
“Contents are locked because a robots.txt file is present in the root folder.”
I found other answers from Rankmath saying:
“Try to delete the physical robots.txt file inside the root directory of your WordPress installation with the help of the FTP client or your native web hosting file manager.”
I understood what it’s saying, but I do not know how to do that. Could you please assist in resolving this problem? Thank you!
Hello,
Definitely, if you could share the FTP and WordPress credentials of your site, we will be able to resolve this issue.
Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thanks for sharing the credentials.
I have logged in to your cPanel and have deleted the robots.txt file that was present in the root directory of your website.
Now, your site’s robots.txt is working fine.
Have a look at the below screenshot –

Hope this helps.
