Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Once you set up your instant indexing, your posts will automatically be submitted to the Search Engine using the instant indexing API once you publish or update it.
As for your other question, yes, the plugin works only on the backend and the submission process only triggers when you publish a new post or update it. The instant indexing shouldn’t cause any slowdown issues to your website as it is very lightweight.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hello,
therefore, since it only works on the backend side.
Can I disable it from the frontend in order to reduce the various WordPress hooks?
It still works, correct?
Hello,
The plugin needs to be active to submit the URLs to Google. The URLs will not be submitted if the plugin is deactivated.
The plugin submits the URLs to Google whenever a post is published, edited, or deleted.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hello,
what i mean is … can i disable plugin functions from the frontend? this I mean.
Does the controls do them backend or frontend side?
Hello,
The plugin runs in the backend and should be enabled in order to submit your posts to the Indexing API.
Hope this clarifies your doubts. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
