    Hello, First I want to thank you for developping rank math as it’s the best seo plugin I’ve used ever. (also I’m willing to buy the pro version soon).

    Just one small issue that I have confirmed after many tests I made. which is when you already have urls in sitemap and want to set them to “noindex”. what happen is they stay in the sitemap even if you they are set to “noindex”.

    so the solution I found is that I have to change the sitemap urls number limit to a diffrent number and save the setting. after that the sitemap will be updated.

    so why should I do this move everytime i want to noindex a url from sitemap. while other seo plugins do remove them automaticly.

    impotant note: I don’t have any kind of caching option (either server side or plugin side). also the permalink refresh option dosn’t work most of the time.

    even if it’s a small issue but why not fixed it. because I’ve noticed it for more than 2 years ago but still not fixed (thought it would be fixed by upcoming updates) but that’s not happened.

    sorry for this long ticket, but I just want you to pay attention to this small issue.

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you have to change the Links per Sitemap option to update your sitemap then it means that something on your site is caching your sitemap. You can add the following filter to your site to disable the sitemap caching:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
