Hello Rank Math team,

I encounter a problem with open graph data using Facebook’s microdata testing tool. The error message I get for a product detail page is “A product is missing a field: google_product_category”. Can you please tell me how to add the google_product_category attribute to the open graph tags?

Hi Bernd,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

We are sorry but we do not have that option in the plugin.

If you are a bit familiar with coding, you can use this filter to extend the OpenGraph tags and the tags you need:
https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-specific-social-meta

With that said, that is an optional field and can be skipped: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324436?hl=en
