Hello. There were no new or additional plugins added before the very last release. The process you give is very time consuming with various levels of risk. I cannot do this on Sat (all day) or Sun (morning). I have family matters. I will try to do first thing Sun evening or Mon morning at 7 am. Please research on your side as well since there were other individuals who experienced the same problem, the same time.

Can you please confirm if you are using the Font Awesome plugin? If yes then please update the Font Awesome to the latest version, clear the cache of your site, and check if that resolves the issue.

Hello, just able to get back to my PC on Sun 8/8/2021 at 2:33 pm. Yes, I do use the Font Awesome plugin. I only use 1 (one) Font Awesome icon, a “checkmark” in my live site. I do have about 6 – 8 Font Awesome icons in an internal “Test Page” that has and will never go live (it is just for testing purposes). I DID SEE IN MY WORDPRESS.COM JET ACTIVITY LOG THAT THE “FONT AWESOME’ PLUGIN DID UPDATE AUTOMATICALLY ON SAT 8/7 at 5:20 AM (am in the morning). I was out all day Saturday and did not have access to my PC or Jet Activity log.
For your other earlier question, ALL my plugins are set to automatically update — all of them. None are set to manually update. Also, after I log in each day, I go to the WordPress.com (.com, not .org) Dashboard to see if there any any plugins to update (before they do automatically). If I see any, I “Select All” and update all.
Lastly, when I came in now on Sun 8/8/2021 at 2:33 pm, I refreshed my Product pages that all had the “null” issue and all the “null”s were gone and the Product pages “seem” to be back to their normal functioning state. I have “not” entered any new information to address the SEO items identified by the RankMath plugin, since it is Sunday afternoon right now in New York.
Question: was the issue caused by a conflict with the Font Awesome plugin since you referenced Font Awesome in your earlier request // also, since the Font Awesome plugin automatically updated on 8/7 at 5:20 AM? Font Awesome is a very popular/highly downloaded plugin.
Do you know what changed or was updated to correct the RankMath plugin SEO issue(s)? I would like to better understand in case this type issue were to occur again in the future. Not sure if it would be better to “not” auto update the RankMath plugin as well. SEO in a go live site is extremely critical that all is working well.
We were down an entire day with the RankMath plugin SEO issue and had to stop and lost a lot of time and productivity. Please understand the business impact this issue had in lost time and money.

The issue was coming from the Font Awesome plugin and it is fixed in the latest version of their plugin.
You can set the Rank Math plugin to auto-update as we test the plugin before releasing new updates.

A new challenge with the latest Rank Math plugin this morning on 8/9/2021 at 7:07 am.:
I am in one of our new products and when starting to type a new keyword to enter in the “Focus Keyword (?)” area, the sample focus keywords are not appearing in grey (like they did prior to the last Rank Math plugin update). I used to be able to see an immediate list of sample focus keywords and then be able to scroll down to one and select (the selected one would then go into the Focus Keyword box, this is no longer happening). I no longer see this list of sample keywords.
Question: how do I start to see the list of sample keywords like before? We are again stuck without having this important Focus Keyword sample list of names. Please let me/us know as soon as you can what steps to take to fix so the focus keywords start to appear again.

A 2nd new challenge with the latest Rank Math plugin this morning on 8/9/2021 at 7:42 am.:
I am in one of our new products and when starting to type the updated “Permalink”, the very first letter character I enter, the Permalink counter for the number of characters starts at “34” (see screen shot) and not number 1. So I am trying to enter 51 characters, but since it starts at 34 (then adds on the 51), I am failing the URL test since my number equals 85.

For the permalink length: The permalink length is counted including the permalink structure before the slug. So if your structure before slug includes 33 characters, the field will show 34 when you enter the first letter of the slug.

For the Permalink issue: there is no structure before the link (meaning when I am in the Rank Math SEO Permalink box (in the Snippets area) there are no characters at all — I have checked many times). The box says 0/75 and the very first character I then enter it goes to 34. I have tried several times to delete and retry and every time it jumps to 34 immediately. Any other suggestions to research or try?
For the Suggestions issue: I have not changed or adjusted any setting for the Suggestions since I first downloaded the app. Not sure if the Suggestions setup would have automatically changed with the last Rank Math plugin update. I am replying to you on my LG phone right now and can’t check my Rank Math settings on my HP Desktop. Can you tell me in a reply or send a screen shot link on the specific setting(s) I should checking and confirming for the Suggestions?
I will check for your reply later tonight EST or first thing in the morning EST. If required, I will send in my site credentials for deeper research by you if necessary.

1. By the permalink structure I meant your domain name. If you have selected to display your products like https://domain.com/product/slug then the character count in the permalink box will consider the whole URL and not just the slug. This is done because recommended length is for the whole URL and not just for the slug. You can check the character length of your whole URL to check if it is showing the count correctly or not.
2. There is no setting/option to enable or disable the suggestions. They should generate automatically once you start inserting the focus keyword. If they aren’t then we will need the login details to have a closer look and figure out the issue.

1. My URLs display the domain name as well, so I will need to rethink how they are displayed on the actual live Product page. For the 2 Products that were entered before the last Rank Math plugin, that have not errored out (and they are using the same full domain display name). Not sure if the “will” error out the minute I go back into that SEO snippet. I can double check the full display count on desktop tomorrow morning.
Question: from a best practices SEO stand point, does Rank Math recommend using the full domain display name or minimizing it for less visual space and maybe easier reading?
2. I will check again tomorrow morning for the auto populate of the Suggestions. If they still do not work, I will send in my credentials.

1) I checked the full domain path in a live page and I understand your reply that the full Permalink size URL takes into account the existing structure + the entered Permalink to calculate the full size #.
Question: from a best practices SEO stand point, does Rank Math recommend using the full domain display name or minimizing it for less visual space and maybe easier reading? PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS #1 QUESTION. Thank you.
2) I checked the Suggestions pop-up this morning. When we first had the issue with the Font Awesome plugin, I had taken the step to deactivate and then reactivate the Rank Math plugin. When I reactivated the Rank Math plugin I inadvertently forgot to link it back to my WordPress account. Once I linked back this morning, I see the Suggestions appearing when I start typing.
Please let me know your thoughts on #1 above and we should then be okay.

You will have to display your domain name, there is no way to minimize it. However, you can change the permalink structure from the WP settings to display categories, product, data and time, etc in the permalink.
The most recommended permalink structure is the post-name. You can simply use a keyword-rich permalink in this structure that explains your post or product clearly for the user.

This Support ticket started some time ago and was originally related to the conflict that Rank Math Support identified between the Rank Math plugin (update Rank Math SEO 1.0.69.1) and the Font Awesome plugin. The Rank Math Support individual told me of the conflict.
My original support request is to please continue to optimize the plugin testing process and validation against other (very popular and highly downloaded) plugins to minimize the impact to users of the Rank Math plugin [plugin to plugin conflicts]. Rank Math is a very powerful plugin, but we had lost about 2+ days of business operations due to the plugin conflicts and other steps we tried to take to work through the issue.
