Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us and sorry for the inconvenience.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hi Michael,
What level permissions do you need?
Thanks
Jason
Hello,
Let’s try some initial troubleshooting.
Since the 502 error does not convey much information, it’s basically hit and trial.
1. Please disable Sitemap module in the Rank Math plugin from here:
sitename/wp-admin/admin.php?page=rank-math
WP Dashboard > Rank Math
2. Then, flush your permalink settings from here:
sitename/wp-admin/options-permalink.php
WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
and click on the Save Changes button without changing any setting.
3. Then re-enable the Sitemap module in the Rank Math plugin, and head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and change the value of Links Per Sitemap
to 201 from 200.
Save the settings.
If you are still unable to access the Sitemap, please follow this troubleshooting guide to confirm if there are any conflicts with one of the plugins or the theme you are using:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Please let us know if that helps.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
Thank you for the followup. Looks like it worked. Thanks for your help!
Thanks
Jason
Hi,
So this is bizarre. Everything was fine when I did what you said and even checked incognito multiple times to see it was working. Yet, now 5 minutes later I get a 502 error again.
What level of permission access do you need to access our blog to investigate further?
Thanks,
Jason
Hi Jason,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section like my colleague asked in our first reply.
Please add us as an admin.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
First of all, can you please update to the latest version of all the plugins and WordPress?
I logged in and updated Rank Math to the latest version.
You can also choose to auto-update the Rank Math SEO plugin from here:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=rank-math-options-general
Secondly, please ask your hosting to add the following configuration to your server’s config file:
https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/#nginx-server-error
Please let us know if that helped. Thank you.
Hi,
Please note the bug my team member reported related to fixing this issue: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/incorrect-sql-query-in-class-sitemap-php/
Thanks
Jason
