404 / Redirect problem

When I have a bunch of links in the 404 manager, I select them, click the batch action redirect and I’m forwarded to the redirect manager. Here, all the links are auto-populated and this works really well.

BUT. When I go back to the 404 manager, my selection is no longer there and I need to re-select all the links to delete them from the log.

Sometimes I have 40-50 links and is quite a hassle to find the ones I’d just redirected. Please work on a way where the selection either is preserved or you can choose something that says, auto-delete after redirecting.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Update to the latest version of Rank Math Free & PRO

    2. Ensure that the Advanced Mode is selected:
    advanced mode

    3. Re-create tables by clicking WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the Re-create database Table button.
    re-create analytics tables

Then, you should be able to use the 404 and redirection manager features easily.

Please let us know if that helps.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply and I just tried that.

I have updated the sensitive data with a link to a video showing what I mean, because the problem I have is still there.

The fields that I clicked to bulk-redirect (I feel) should be removed from the log after actually redirecting them. Now I have to go back to the 404 log, remember by heart and select all those fields again so I can delete them.

    Hello,

We have taken note of this feature request.

We might add it in the future. Thank you so much.
