404 redirect error

    Hi Rank Math Team,

    I have set up 404 pages on Elementor, Previously all the pages I deleted I just simply choose the Redirection > Fall Back Behavior > Redirect to Homepage, nothing wrong with my GSC.

    After I created the 404 pages, those pages/products I deleted, My GSC A/c detected I ” Redirect-error ” ( see attachment ), I tried to redirect it back ( which google detected error ) to my home page but still showing 404. May I know how to solve this issue?

    Because this issue making my ranking a big drop recently T_T, really need your guys to help…

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Rank Math redirections could have issues with query URLs (the ones with ‘?’), so the best way would be using .htaccess redirections.

    Before editing it, make sure to back up its content.

    After that, paste this text at the end:

    RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule (\?attachment_id=)(\d+) / [L,R=301]
