So, when you see a 404 on your main domain name, that actually means someone or a bot is trying to access your website at https://example.com/https://example.com
You can safely ignore this 404.
There is nothing to be worried about.
Regarding the redirect, the referer column does not mean that the URL is redirecting there, instead, it shows the last page/URL accessed by the user/bot before accessing the 404 URL of your website.
