Hello, I hope you can help me! I think it’s related to my news aggregator plugin but apparently they don’t want to help a paying customer! I just need to know if this is a concern. So the plugin pulls in posts from RSS feeds and saves them as a draft blog post. Each one links back to the original source and has the source url as canonical. In my 404 list, I see a bunch of my blog posts with a source url at the end.
https://asylum-News.com/u-s-politics/Trump-is-running-in-2024-and-thats-bad/www.cnn.com.
I’ve been redirecting them to the url without the http://www.cnn.com at the end, but what I need to know is:
Are these coming from real people visiting my website? Because when I share articles on social media, the url doesn’t show up at the end and the links work. On my website the articles all open fine.
I’m just hoping whatever it is, it’s NOT something I need to spend my time going through and redirecting every single one that pops up on the 404 log.
Thank you!
