    Hi,
    Getting a 404 error in Inspect Console
    DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for DOMAIN/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/assets/front/css/rank-math.css.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

    I’ve had this for other plugins and managed to obtain a .map file which seems to fix it but cannot find this rank-math.css.map file anywhere?

    I’m using Chrome browser.

    Hello,

    We are sorry but this issue was fixed a few updates back.

    Please do a hard refresh while the edit page screen is open:
    Windows: Ctrl + F5
    Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
    Linux: F5

    This issue was fixed a few updates back.

    Thanks for your reply.

    However, it does not seem to be fixed entirely.

    The empty of cache seems to have resolved that first file but when I went into the edit of the page – am now getting 2 missing fils – this time in /admnin sub-folder –
    /plugins/seo-by-rank-math/assets/admin/css/elementor.css.map
    /plugins/seo-by-rank-math/assets/admin/css/elementor-dark.css.map

    SO could you please check again.

    Hello,

    I have sent this to devs and we will check it since it should be completely fixed for now but right now you don’t have to worry, those are not errors. “.map” files are used to help developers to debug their codes and since you are not developing the Rank Math plugin you don’t need the map file, so you can just ignore the warning for now.

    Thanks for that.

    I realise the map files are not essential for me but I still don’t want them to be visible in the Console as then they fill up the screen and mask any other issues that may occur from time to time. Especially as I know this warning can be avoided quite simply.
    I always try to remove Warnings (likewise in php log) else they have a habit of becoming Errors later on… 🙂

    Hello,

    We have fixed it in the beta. You can update to it from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Version Control.

    The stable release will be available in the coming week.
